Orange Flower

Night in the Wild

As the sun sets and the forest darkens, everything begins to change. Daytime activity slows down, and a different kind of presence takes over. It’s quieter—but not silent. There’s a hum, a rustle, the distant sound of an animal.

Being outside at night can bring up alertness, even a bit of fear. That’s natural. But when you stay with it, a kind of trust can emerge. You begin to tune in to your senses more closely—hearing more, seeing differently, feeling your own body more clearly.

These night walks help us practice being with uncertainty. You don’t always need to see everything ahead. You learn to feel your way, one step at a time.
